Supporting gltf in USD is adding bloat to support the thing it makes redundant. If I'm wrong, please tell me how and why I don't understand this whole thing.
Hello I`m working on something and I`ve noticed that pasting shader nodes with parameters that are linked to a subnet with parameters using python fails. I thought a had a good workaround and technically i have a way to solve this but it is ugly as it messes up the inputs and outputs.( although the pasted node also has messed up inputs and outputs.) I wil provide an example HDA + scenefile
note that in the example file the parameters dont even show up on the toplevel but in my more complicated setup they do even though this is basically exactly the same just with some things removed.
you could use a match size to set the location of the arrow to the center. You can then in a seperate branch. I`ve atached a file. you can do the same for orientation by using 2 match axis nodes.
PS the transform node is only used to hold the values. YOu could also use the point("path to node",0,"P",0) ects instead.
Hello Its hard to work out exzactly what your question is when its gramatically this incoherent. ``` the particle stating reaching from the ground and peak point duration how to control ,I wanted to the shorter time to reach the particle to the peak point ``` Is verry hard to understand. I advice you ask chatgpt to translate your question from your native language.
If you provide us with the hipfile where yhou are having the problem and ad annotations in your notes that can also help us understand your question.
I`m not entirely sure what you mean but i think what you are looking for is a node called
lightlinker you can use it to link lights. it is howeverin the lops context as you generally want to use the lops context when working with solaris. ( you can just do a scene import if you dont want to setup evrything.I`m not sure what you mean.
I think you can just do suboutput.setParms({ "name1" : "albedo", "label1": "albedo", "name2" : "rough", })
Hello so as mentioned in chat earlyer having a value clip whould also solve the problem i was having. I cant seem to be able to set it up correctly though.
IT doesnt work for me on my geo it just plays once and then holds the last frame. I`ve tried resaving with flatten all layerses collapse sublayers preserve references.
This didn`t fix anything. even the example file doesn`t wor and stops at the last frame.
1. in scripts panel click add empty section 2. make syre the name ects is PythonModule 3. add function to module. 4. add function to callback scripty as follows hou.phm().function()
