I am using linux 9.0 and would like some help creating something. How do I create a new button (using the Menu Editor) on my desktop for houdini to startup without the need to open a command window and type:
cd /usr/hfs6
source houdini_setup
houdini
I think that I have to type some commands for this to work…but, I don't know what. I just learned how to do this for Netscape and would like to do it for Houdini. Thanks to anyone who replies.

I have downloaded Adobe Acrobat 506 to use with houdini 6 apprentise, but when I try to open a houdini document within Houdini…I can't. How can I configure Houdini to use Adobe Acrobat with houdini? I am using RedHat 9.0 and have little Linux experience, so any simple ways to do it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks all.
