Anyone know how to assign prototypes via the Name Attribute in Solaris. I'm wanting to get specific prototypes on specific points. Is it possible? I keep getting an error saying invalid prototype name.

Worked a bit and got something in 3D but it's rough. Worked on it more via intuition so not as sound as the gasket. There's not a lot on how to do this. Any resources or ideas are definitely welcome.

Thanks we got it sorted a different way. Original thought was to do something like Arnold Standins with payloads. But no need. Thanks a lot for the response.

Was wondering if there is a more efficient way to do what I'm trying. I've created a file(see attached) that allows you to scale up your uvs across multiple UDIMS. The file will then cut whatever is in that UDIM and separate it from the surrounding UDIMs. It works ok. However, this does start to chug a bit on higher topology. Was wondering if there's any other ways to do this?

Thank you so very much. This is awesome. I read up on the principles behind unsharp mask and not only does this work, but I understand it. Your explanation and graphic was very helpful.

Does anyone know how to sharpen Heightfield Terrains? I would like to avoid sharpening the polygons. Curious if there's a way to do this on the voxel side of things.

Found that we can activate 64 bit precision on the transform node. Still jitters in viewport. I'm assuming this is a viewport 32bit precision issue?

Question about large scenes in Houdini. I'm looking in the Geometry Spreadsheet and the position is rounding the decimal points and it's resulting in jittering the point positions. Any ideas on this? Thanks in Advance.

Trying to do a wire deformer with vop movement animating across a number of wires and a bunch of geometry keeps getting left behind. Tried to up the offset, but doesn't fix it. Any ideas why? Thanks in advance.

I read that the MOP Instancer - Set Sequence Time can retime with offsets instances from the Mop Instancer via an attribute.
I created a point wrange with something like randOffset=fit01(rand(@id),1,100); I then set the Set Sequence Time node to use Index Type: Attribute and then set the Attribute Name to "randOffset" and I get no random offsets. What am I doing wrong?

Brilliant, tamate. Just tried that and it gave me the correct results. Much simpler and can grab it on the fly. Very nice. Thank you.
