1. use smoke instead of fire setup and remap the color
2. don't use simulation at all, you can compose this with geometry+noises with attributes as passes, then you assemble and tweak it in comp

also there is a check box on Dop Import Fields sop, compute min max, you can examine those as primitive attribs for each field

use the draw curve sop with geometry projection, you can click-add points with that tool.

The connect adjacent pieces will make the packed points connected, to define the constraints, the pig heads are not visible at this stage.
I removed the translate and rotate from your voronoi object, try to avoid any translation at object level, use a transform sop instead at geometry level.
renamed the nulls to have more descriptive names, so you know what are you referencing
the rbdpackedobject in DOPs was referencing the constraints, that cause the wrong display, also there were no proper geometries to simulate.
now it works properly.

Lock you model, if it comes from external source and post the hip file here. You really don't want to write out .sim files.

Actually from Houdini to Maya, we always transferred velocity as vertex color attrib, and Arnold can render that.
Only thing is that Maya is super sensitive to geometry, so it takes a couple of tries while you are not getting some error message or warning in maya. Also uv is an attribute too.
