Hello my friends, it is long time since we last met. I did a so called “Parametric Architecture” project in China. And it is almost finish. So I am willing to show you some pictures. Houdini is a so robust software that we can extend its use in a lot of fields in the world
So if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. My Email is : syzmatrix0@gmail.com

Do you check the file bldgCollapse48.hip in bullet master class files? It is interesting it is trying to delete links inside sop solver. But I find that delete point is not working! An other file seems to work which is delete prim.
So I wander if it possible to delete points which is affecting prims to control the glue network.
Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, yestoday I start a Pyro Simulation, using a Upres (max division = 800). The total number I want to simulate is 150 frames, which I have simulate 120 frames. So I want to continue my simulation which is start on frame 121. Is there any approach to do this. Thank you very much

Hi there, I have a simple question. During the simulation of Pyro, is it possible the limit the simulation time(eg. 2 hour) and stop the sim automaticlly. Then close Houdini and computer. I am in a studio where the power is in limited use. So I have to get the method to solve the problem.
Thank you in advance.
Thank you in advance.
Technical Discussion » how to transform the planes to xy coordinate

hi insania:
That is very nice of you. I check the hip, it is very helpful. But I think I did not make myself clear. What I want to archive is more complex operation, which will measure the height and width of the face of each object, and do some operation based on real world architecture rules. So the best way is maybe to transform each face to x,y coordinate first. Then I could use any geometries from any software more then Houdini. And my procedure will be much simpler. But thank you again for your help 8)

Hi there, I want to make a city using modified cubes, then there comes the problems with facades. And my idea is to transform each vertical face of these cubes to the xy coordinate planes and making some subdivides on it. So how can I make it working, maybe some vop solution. Thanks for someone if he could offer some help

Hi guys, I want to ask you a simple question. Is it possible to get center of mass of an object in SOP network.
I think it may different from $CEX,Y and Z. So plz show me some method. Thanks in advance!

To Delight0092 what was this for?
I am working on an architecture project, the mission is to insert 25000 old bricks inside 60000 bricks, in ramp random way. So I have to do this
To mkolar:
The method is great, I never considered using VOP. But the problem of my project is the deleted number of my prims are fixed. But it is still great way to solve the case. Thank you.
