I already e-mailed support, my work is brutally interrupted by that.
I followed every instructions on the documentation, including returning my license and retrieving it , only to get the same Houdini error :
License Error: Unable to connect to hserver for license acquisition
Please help me,and warn people that are upgrading OS X on there Mac Pros too.I didn't see it coming!

True.
No, I think you are right, actually.
Full HD 1920X1080 render plates will be enough for my 2K project.
I apreciated your help ,and I am looking forward to try
Houdini Indie.

I want to say thank you for the extraordinary oportunity represented
by Houdini Indie, 8) and I am considering to purchase it soon.
I am a 3ds max user, but I've always wanted to make the jump to Houdini
and I've used every oportunity to learn it.
My main concerns :
Still have some doubts about resolution and Import/export capabilities:
1) The 1920x1080 limitation for mantra is the single point that stroke me
as a bit unfair, because even Broadcast today is 4K for Vídeo ,Hope Side Effects will make 2K the indie standart in the future.
yet I am outputing for 2K , but hope that for Ocean FX simulations
renderings 1920x1080 will be enough to resize and comp with my 2k footage
in After effects, considering that CG is a really more defined in most cases.
Am I right ?
2) Considering that Houdini Indie do have Alembic and FBX support,
would be possible to export my work to 3ds Max 2015 ? and maybe render the exported files using Vray , Octane or whatever the renderer I choose? Does it help if I acquire Houdini engine for 3ds max ?
Does it aplly for particle simulations like ocean FX ?
I am also a licensed user of Clarisse FX.
I'd apreciate any clarification of those , for me, crucial doubts.
