Hi
I am trying filter workitems based on a string attribute, looking through the examples, literally all examples
and they are all using integer attributes, is string not working, if they are working, what is the magic?

Hi
So the Merge Geometry option on the Geometry Import node is great when you have one single frame of caches that you want to merge into one geometry stream, but its not great when you have a file sequences of wedges that needs to be merged into a one file seq.
Can we make the Geometry Import node to run out of process so it can be batched?

So if we switch scheduler on a node and cook again, it picks up what that last scheduler was, the only way to switch the scheduler now is to restart houdini, that sounds like a bug to me?
Using Houdini 17.5.265

And
Having both Deadline and Tractor schedulers in there doesn't seam to add them to any nodes either.
What do I need to do for the schedulers spare parms to show up on the TOP nodes

My python code uses "'tag' : " for any parm that I want to be overridden by any node

The tag value is not currently used. The system only checks if tag named jobParm exists.Its says “jobParm” in the document but in the picture it says “pdg::scheduler”, which one should it be?

So I have an indie license at home, and an extra engine license, what is the magic combination of ENV variables to get the TOP's Geometry to work, right now I get fails jobs as I don't have a right license for ‘hython’?

Hi
So we have an internal URI type for all our filepaths, like many other facilities, so how do we get to view it correctly
using “View Task Output”? If we have a FS_Helper built, is that going to translate the URI into a filepath?
And is there a way to get access to some kind of callback script we can run when we run “View Task Output”?

Download the example from openvdb.org
There is a good example in there

The idea is to merge all vdb:s first then combine it with an empty vdb

Hi
Does anybody else run houdini on a
Macpro Quad 3.0 ghz with a Nvidia 4500 quadro card. Leopard 10.5.4
Using Version 9.5.202 of houdini and still errors every time I drop
down a new operator and the Compositing dosen't work at all.
This is what happens when I drop a operator, and to fix it
I basically grab the window frame and shake it and Open GL updates.
I'm running Nuke and Maya and don't have any Open GL problems so I guess it's a houdini problem.

Does anybody have any info how to use the Wedge Rop.
I have 8 diifrent fluid sims that needs to be manually output to file with different settings. The wedge Rop is suppose to do that but I can't use the $WEDGE, it's not recognized and so it wont write out something to disk.
Somebody how tried it
