It seems weird that it adds C: at the end of the path

Actually its your working directory. Set that to relative folder (try temp for example). Its being appended to the Local Shared Root Path (in this case your $HIP).

Im trying the Deadline Scheduler with a simple rop geometry in tops, but i cant figure out how to correctly set the “localsharedroot” parm. This is on a local Deadline installation so the directory where the test file is located is rooted on C:. Ive tried alot of different combos of ‘C:’ ‘C’ ‘C:\’ ‘C:\\’ but i keep getting errors that the syntax is incorrect. I thought it would be the drive letter on windows but i cant figure it out

I dont think you can evaluate expressions in group name fields like that. Not completely sure though
@N.y<0.1 works but not when wrapping @N in abs().

Just tried this and H actually writes a file that is 4096x4096 but it only fills the bottom left 1920x1080 pixles.

If you assign the uv coordinates to the original, then all the copies will share the same uv space. Is this what you meant :

You could do it in python:
This example runs in a Python SOP and the geo is just one point with a detail array attribute

You could hack it by using a matrix data type as your inner array:
But you will not get array functionality in the inner array.

On the outside of the vop node you can specify which attributes are exported. Default is all (*). You could probably make some kind of switch here. Here i have excluded an attribute called “debug”:

Not at my machine atm so i cant give you an example, but you can run this command in the textport. There should be some examples either here om the forum or over on odforce.
