when I render sequence with renderman11 in houdini 6, it shut down my computer in few frames rendered!!!! why???have any of you suffered this problem???

Check external factors first. CPU temp? BIOS version? Does rman work otherwise? Are you using IT or the framebuffer?

I can use the renderman 11 render sequence in maya use Mtor perfectly.
it seems that its the houdini's problem……I saved the pictures in tiff file.
did you try it???
