Hi there.
I changed the graphic card today, not a big upgrade, just from Geforce 2MX(32MB) to Geforce 2MX 400(64MB).

Now houdini won't start in Linux.
I already reinstalled it and everything works fine up to the moment when i type houdini to start it.
The sesinetd is running.

Well i get the following message:

The Houdini 6.0.286 environment has been initialized.
/usr/houdini6> houdini
/usr/houdini6> Fatal error: Segmentation Fault
Saving application data to /tmp/Oliver.hip
Crash log saved to /tmp/crashlog_Oliver

whereas in the crashlog i only find this information:
Crash report from Oliver; FUSE Version 6.0.286

I'm clueless.
Anyhone any hints where to look at?
Thx.

Hi there,

Have you tried re-installing the graphics card driver? Please go to Nvidia's [nvidia.com] web site and download the latest Linux drivers which comes with a swanky installer/un-installer.

Please let us know how it goes.

Cheers!
