Well, that was fun - tried DL'ing the app to trial it, via 3 diff. browsers and got about 99.7% of the app and that was it. Am I only one on the planet, that has had this problem?

I had that problem with firefox. And one day it was just gone. Why I don't know. Try cleaning cache, cookies, and disabling firewall… it may help

I've been downloading daily builds for a few years now.

NEVER had a problem of the sort you are describing. Perhaps a download manager of some flavour is to blame?

You didn't clearly say where you were downloading from. Also, which build?

Only problem I've ever has is that some windows antivirus can take quite a while to dig through all those files(and theres *lots*)in the installer. Also, yeah, any sort of 3rd party tool like downloaders, firewalls, anti-trojan - anything that scans incoming traffic…
