I am new to Houdini after comign from 3ds Max. I have been going trough the tutorials and I have noticed that I cannot Dolly/Rotate/etc.. when I am in SOPs. If I want to change the angle I see somethign from I have to go into OBJs and then back into SOPs.

I am using 6.0.268 Non-Comercial edition of Houdini Master.

Did I hit something on my keyboard and mess up my prefs? If so how do I change it back?

Hi there,

I would recommend always holding down the Spacebar when navigating in the Viewport. So, hold down Spacebar+LMB/MMB/RMB to tumble, dolly, track respectively.

PS Are you sure you've gone through the tutorials?

video tutorials dont show if someone is holding the space bar. Its so simple I should have tried that before asking…
