i am trying to make a splash of water hit a door and break it (i shatter the door)

the simulation start to look good, but i dont know how to bake it or cache.

i know that i can use the “File node” and set it to automatic, but for some reason the fluid dosnt show,
after reading the help in Houdini, looks they are several node that can cache a scene.
and also that some node itself allready have a cache option like a RBD obj.

http://localhost:48626/dynamics/io [localhost]
File node
File Data node
Dynamics render driver

is there a specific difference between those? and how can i cache the simulation of the fluid and the rbd in one file. or do i need to create several files?

If you wanna cache the simulation inside of dops the File Dop should work, or alternatively, you can bring in your simulations into sops via a Dop Import sop and write it out to bgeos from a rop output driver sop.
