Hi,

I haven't used houdini for a while and must be forgetting something. I'm trying to visualize a sound wave with boxes of different heights. I have a line SOP for a template. A copy SOP with the PT stamped as “test” and finally a box SOP with “chopf(”/ch/ch1/math3/chan1“, test)” in sizex. Unfortuantly its using the same chan1 value for all of the boxes instead of collecting new data for each frame. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi tallkien,

Thanks for the reply. I should ahve updated the post. My expression syntax was wrong. Instead of chopf(“/ch/ch1/math3/chan1”, test) it should have been chopf(“/ch/ch1/math3/chan1”, (param(“test”, 1))).
