Reminder that the VHUG meeting is Wednesday May 5 at CIS Vancouver from 7-9pm.

50 West 2nd Ave, Vancouver, BC

There is no parking within the CIS building, however plenty of parking around the building on Ontario and Manitoba, as well as 3rd Ave. Now that the Olympics are over, you can also fairly easily park on either side of 2nd Ave.

I'll prob be coming anyway (plus another guy) if I can work out the timing, I'm just curious anyway.

This month's is a presentation by Ray Corbett showing some cool stuff that, at the moment, I've forgotten but I'm sure will be cool We also have an ad-hoc “show cool stuff” interlude, plus apparently a lot of people then go drinking I hope you can make it!

hmmm… well… okkk… but it better be cool! I think I've worked it out, so we should be able to make it… let's hope traffic cooperates.

This is a fun idea, let 5 houdini masters loose for 20 minutes to create “ad hoc cool stuff”. Reminds me of demo scene - I would love to give that a go.
Anyway, can't make that meeting this year, maybe when I get to Canada
