Transferring animation/rig information?

Now that I have a working animation and deformation rig, what if I need to go back and modify the character? Is there an easy way to transfer all the animation data from one rig to another? The basic structure of the character is the same but the mesh may have a different number of polys here and there.

You can use attribute transfer from original mesh to the new mesh.
