How can I join two polygonal splines to create a longer spline?

Hi there,

Merge your curves together then append a Join SOP. If the join does not work right, insert a Reverse SOP between any of the two curves SOPs & the Merge SOP.

It's actually a lot easier if you do this in the viewport. Turn on display for one of your curve sops and footprint for the other. Now do tab > Join in the viewport. Pick one curve at a time. Read the status bar at the bottom which gives instructions on how to flip ends if you need to. It will merge and reverse as necessary.
