where can I find the fur style cvex shader? (or is it removed in H12)

It is inside the Fur Object HDA. Dive in the Fur Object and in the Skin, there you will find a shopnet node. In there you will find the fur procedural SHOP along with the two CVEX shaders referenced by both the Fur SOP and the Mantra Fur Procedural SHOP.
There's at least one school like the old school!
