I let me computer do a test sim of a lot of Bullet geo last night and I came back this morning to see it filled my system SSD partition to zero bytes left. I checked and all the cache data is in /tmp so I'm wondering if you can set this manually since I usually put this cache data on another disk.

Try put down a rop geometry node and specifiy the path to a folder on desktop, that should do it unless i am understanding you wrongly.
