Hi there,

When copying and pasting a number of VOPs (around 12) that are all subnets containing a texture VOP and a few Parameter VOPs, I get these kinds of messages in the console:

UI_Queue::queueEvent event queue full. Events being dropped.
UI_Queue::queueEvent 316 events dropped.
UI_Queue::queueEvent event queue full. Events being dropped.
UI_Queue::queueEvent 1 events dropped.
UI_Queue::queueEvent event queue full. Events being dropped.
UI_Queue::queueEvent 1 events dropped.

H6.1.208 on WIN-XP

Anyone seen this or know what's being reported? Bug?

Thanks,
Mark

Try setting the environment variable HOUDINI_UI_QUEUE_SIZE to 20480 and then to higher values if you still get the problem.

I am running Windows 7 64.

Went into my windows env variables but I couldn’t find this. Is this found somewhere else?

thanks

On Windows you'll have to create that variable yourself, just type it in to the User Env variables dialog. Set it to the value as appropriate…

In many cases hitting the queue size limit is an indication of bad behaviour in Houdini, so it's usually worthwhile submitting it as a bug as well.
