Two things make working with the ConnectivitySOP a little awkward:

*/ The output is an Integer attribute - this is ignored by VEX ops. So we need to convert it manually to float attributes. Perhaps an option to write float attribs instead? And/or have VEX able to read in integer attributes too.

*/ Could it define a local variable mapping for the atttribute too? Very useful that would be, oh yes.
