I am a student currently learning Houdini and rman.
I usually convert the vop shading network to rsl shop by choosing“Create shop type from vop network”. But 80% of time does not work! (the outcome is only a white shader )
Is this the only way to convert vop shading network to rsl shop? what I did was select the whole vop network in the vex builder and then right click “Create shop type from vop network”. What did I do wrong?

Use a VEX Surface Shader VOP to make a VEX shader, and an RSL shader VOP to make an RSL shader. They're not intended to be mixed.
