I am a beginner in Houdini. I am currently learning a bit of modelling.
What is the difference between blast and delete? They both can delete the polygon faces! What is the difference?

blast is for straight forward removal of geometry. it doesn't have any fancy options for selected/non-selected, delete by a pattern, expression etc.

If you want a faster SOP to do your work use the blast. When you get into procedural work, the DeleteSOP is better.
