Hi everyone,
As the title says I am having this odd UV changing when I import the HDA into Maya.
Basically I have a bunch of tubes and their polyCaps.
The UVs are vtx attributes so they should be read by Maya.
I've attached a JPG so you can better understand.
Any idea how to work this out?
Thanks
UVs not read correctly in Maya

Just to update the thread. The asset was create in Houdini 14.0. And it turns out that the Maya plugin was loading Houdini 15.0.179. This build has a bug in the sweep SOP that was causing the asset to produce incorrect UVs. The bug got fixed in 15.0.208. So the asset should produce correct UVs in the later 15.0 builds.

Instead of starting Houdini with that menu, try:
1. Use the “Save Assets to Houdini Scene” to only save the HIP file
2. Start Houdini separately outside of Maya
3. Open the saved HIP file.
Does the UV appear correct there?
(Trying to see if the Maya environment is somehow causing issues.)

No luck, UVs are still wrong when opened in Houdini. So it has to be Maya at this point because even with different versions of HE the UVs are always incorrect
