Hi,

I want migrate to Linux system and for now I try it only on Virtual Machine so I install my Ubuntu Distro and I have some problem when I create one things inside Houdini. My interface became black, it's a problem of VGA drivers?
I try to downlaod the Nvida Driver but on virtual machine (with a Virtual-Box) it doesn't see my vga.
Any ideas?

thank you
Mat

Virtual machines tend to not have enough real OpenGL support for Houdini. I think dual booting is probably the best answer here. Alternatively, if you have a large enough USB stick, you can try a Ubuntu USB install [ubuntu.com]. Houdini is rather large, so I imagine you would need a pretty large USB drive for this.
