I'm trying to cut off displacement based on distance from camera. I can kill the displacement value information by normalizing the geo bounds information. And multiplying a turbulence noise against those black/white normalzied values. My question is that even though the displacement value in that area of the geometry is 0 it still sees to be subdividing the geometry. Is there a way to kill the displaced geometry creation in those areas as well?
