Hi guys,

I have exported a xparticles simulation in Houdini as Bgeo

The info of the xparticles simulation has the 3 vectors of velocity but as soon as I convert the simulation into VDB from particles into fog I loose my velocity data.

I have try to find a solution with no luck. Any tips?

Thanks

On VDB from Particles, at the bottom there are options to rasterize other attributes into VDB grids (see attached image).

You could also use Fluid Source to generate your density + velocity from points, then VDB convert the Volumes into VDBs.

Hope that helps!
