When i put the Edit SOP in Sculpt mode the handle doesn't do anything, the brushes doesn't deform the geometry.
Is anybody else suffering similar problems?
Houdini 8.0.499 with Ubuntu 5.10.
Un saludo

I think that is a problem related to the wacom support in Houdini.
I am using a one of these and if i disable the tablet support under linux all works well.

What if you set the environment variable HOUDINI_ENABLE_LINUX_TABLET to 0 before launching Houdini?

What if you tried the different settings for the environment variable, HOUDINI_ENABLE_LINUX_THREADED_UI ? I'm not sure what the default is, but try both 0 and 1.

I am using the threading ui and it seems to be stable.
Maybe the tablet could be causing the strange viewport redraw errors ?
The only problem is that i can't use the tablet pressure in the sculpt tool.
But this is a minor problem, but it would be interesting to have a good tablet support under linux.
Un saludo
