edit attributes manually

Hi,

is there a way to set or change an attribute manually?
Like for example, if I'm scattering trees using a point cloud and random rotations and pscale. Once it's done, I'd like to manually go in there and change scales and rotations of certain trees to fit my artistic intentions, possibly even using the gizmo inside the viewport. Is this even possible, ideally in a quick and easy way?

Thanks in advance,
Ivan

You could use a wrangle.

Post a hip file with your intent. Myself or someone else could add a simple example, say for rotations or pscale as you mention.

The spreadsheet allows manual entry of values. But please, please, for the love of god, don't do it.

Can be a bit of a pain when random/procedural stuff gets you 90% of the way but then you need to tweak a couple of bits. Depending on the scene, it may be worth killing off the trees that aren't quite how you like (blast 'em) and then add those points back in - possibly with transform SOPs if you want the onscreen control - before merging them in with the others.
