I'm also new to Houdini, so good to see so many newcomers! I've just finished following the Pluralsight John Moncrief ‘Intro to Houdini’ course, as a recommendation from this forum, and I have to say it really is useful to get you started and understand the Houdini way of working. But maybe a little basic if you already have some experience…

I'm really interested in paid, long and insightful tutorials…

the longer and better tutorials tend to be much more focused on a single subject
Rohan Dalvi has some very good beginner and intermediate tutorials: http://www.rohandalvi.net/home [www.rohandalvi.net]
Peter Quint has lots - https://vimeo.com/user2030228 [vimeo.com]
Steve Knipping if you're looking for volumes/destruction - https://vimeo.com/user10927826 [vimeo.com]

I'm a bit biased because I teach their Destruction class, but CGMA offers 8-week classes that are pretty awesome, with actively working instructors & homework feedback & live Q&A sessions.

And yeah, Steve's Applied Houdini tutorials are great! Clear & detailed solid content. :-)
