Based on the Star example, I used the new method to define parameters for a custom operator, i.e. a string in the *.C file (“THEDSFILE…”) that is parsed to generate a *.proto.h header. However, I was unable to find documentation on the different parameter types and settings. The documentation only references the use of PRM_Type's.

I was able to figure out some of the format (to enforce boundaries, etc.) but not all. More specifically, I tried to identify the equivalent of PRM_PICFILE but could only use “file”.

Also, is there any documentation on verbs? Again, I used the example, but I don't really have a good grasp of what it is for and how it behaves and should be used.
