this might be easy, i am exploring how to best load geometry to C4d to render in Octane,changing topoly.
I have tried alembic, but ‘v’ doesn't seem to work from what the client told me, so if using a custom HE asset, to load sequential bgeos, would that read ‘v’ and would that work in generating motion blur in C4d/ Octane?
Alternatively, writing ‘v’ to ‘Cd’ in houdini, and saving the mesh that way, could C4d load it and somehow rewire it to get motion blur…
why motion blur is a pain outside Houdini… :-(
