Hi,
I'm trying to grasp the concepts/ideas behind sampling certain elements in a frame higher than others.
Under Geometry > Render > Dicing:
This does not affect standard shading when rendering Physically Based Rendering, correct?
Any input welcome!

to start with have a look at this:

You can set various render properties at object level, but you will have to “expose” them first…
