I want to make a procedural ladder, kinda like one which goes up side of a water tank or fire escape. I want to have the rungs spaced about every 10 to 12 inches or about 3 per yard/meter. I can figure out how to get the side poles to be procedural but not sure how to go about getting rungs 3 per every yard/meter

You could use this as a start. Edit: I added a couple more steps to make it more realistic. This is the benefit of procedural modeling. You can go back and tweak it without having to rebuild the model.
