Exporting FBX sequence with normals

Ultimately we are trying to export animated deformed vertex animation using the FBX Exporter option “Export Deforms as Vertex Caches”. However we can't seem to get deformed normals to exporting in any case. It appears the first frame normals are held across the animation sequence.

In addition we do not see normal data in the vertex cache XML file.

Does Houdini FBX exporter not support animated normals or am I missing a trick?

Try moving your Display flag to the final node vertex1. That seems to be where you are promoting the normal to the vertex.
Using Houdini Indie 20.0
Ubuntu 64GB Ryzen 16 core.
nVidia 3050RTX 8BG RAM.
