I have been able to determine that a number of tools currently fail when you use the shelf to insert the geometry.
The following also fails: 1. Ctrl + Select Grid from shelf 2. Drill into object node to access geometry node 3. Tab key and select Bend Operator 4. Place Bend Operator into node view
At step 4 the process fails.
If you follow this procedure it will not fail: 1. At Object level 2. Tab key and select Geometry and place in object node level 3. Double click to enter geometry node 4. Tab key and select Grid (or other primitive node) 5. Tab key and select Bend Operator (or other modifying operator) 6. Place in node view
It seems that something in the shelf tool has caused the basic operators to fail when being placed.

Has this been logged as a bug so it can get fixed?
The fall of the program while working with UV continues, despite repeated requests. With UV work is simply impossible. As soon as you try to delete the uvlayout node, a program crashes.
When I apply texture while doing UV's, no matter what option I click my Houdini Crashes with “Fatal Error Segmentation Fault”. I have re-installed my RTX 2070 drivers but still same error. I am unable to work further and tweak my UV mapping.
My Computer is Ryzen7 3700X
Please share your thoughts, How can I avoid this error and frequent crashing of Houdini.
