Hello,

I have a particle system, which color my partilces via a ramp function ($LIFE) from blue to red.
If I append a Render POP to these particles, and render out in Spheres, i only get gray spheres.
How can I give these spheres the same color as the particles?

another problem:

I noticed also that render in Discs doesn't work…Lines, Tubes do work.

thanks

Sorry I can only aggree with the above instead of coming with a fix. Even trying to remap the color at the SOP level doesnt work.
On the top of this, if I remove the RenderPOP… it is still rendering my particles as sphere: Both in Houdini 8.0.474 and 8.1.604 on WinXP

It works for me. You need to make sure that you have a Cd shader parameter (ie. a parameter that matches your attribute name). Try using a VEX Layered Surface SHOP. The disc rendering is a known bug.

Will it be possible to fix the bug of the RenderPOP (discs) ?
