Hi,
I am a Maya user and just started using Houdini a few weeks ago for fluids, so forgive the newbie question.
I have been making some blood squibs using a simple sphere emitter, Curl noise & ADD VEL. It gets me 90% there but I need more control when the fluids are air born.
For example, I have the fluids being emitted from frame 1 - 15, then it shuts off emitting. My problem is I can't seem to control the fluid AFTER it stops emitting. (meaning the air born fluids) If I increase the gravity AFTER the emitter stops, the airborn fluids are not effected. If I increase the gravity while its emitting, the fluids are effected. I tried using a fan force, wind force & additional gravity nodes but they don't seem to effect fluids that are not being emitted and traveling in the air.
My question is:
How do I effect the fluids that are air born (emitter is not on) with forces? DO I have to add a force node in a special location for this?
