I see all sorts of scripts and files for USD in the Houdini install folder but no USD nodes in the interface. Am I missing something on how to enable it?

This is with an Education license.

I think they are just preparing to add it at a later stage, but no sure.

short answer: you gotta compile it

slightly longer answer: it's pixar's USD houdini implementation and not sidefx's. the impression that i got is that sidefx did not want to bless pixar's stuff as The One True Approach to usd in houdini, so they included the libs and enough rope for you to hang yourself.
