I have a very tight budget. I've installed Houdini 17 Apprentice and I have a free Houdini Engine Indie license, but it does not allow me to export HDA to 3DSMAX or Unreal.
Does Houdini Indie license allow me to do that? And what Houdini Engine license will Houdini Indie using? It seems that they are not the same but they still confuse me by its appearance.
Does Houdini Indie support using Houdini Engine to export HDA to other DCC or game engines?

Houdini Engine (and therefore the Houdini Engine plugins) will not work with an Apprentice license.
Houdini Engine will work with a Houdini Indie license, however! Therefore, you will be able to use the Unreal or 3ds Max plugin with Houdini Indie.
