Hello-
I've been experiencing frequent program crashes. I've learned to save often! Is this something Houdini users just put up with, should I report the specific crashes, is there some setting adjustment I can make, etc….?

Program crashes are often the result of bad hardware. Sometimes bad memory, or an overclocked system will cause frequent crashes. When I first started using Houdini, it crashed a lot. As I learned the software, it crashed less an less because I did not do the wrong thing as often (i.e wire up things wrong, or generate ridiculous simulation sizes). Try not to exceed your physical memory and keep an eye on the heat generated by your system.
Feel free to report your crash logs, however.
