Is it possible to control viewport and render density ratio on Hair Generate? This ability is quite imperative to have.

You could do it in several ways. Leave the render hair hidden, but use the force objects parameter in your rop to only turn it on at render time. Or if you're using a sops hair workflow rather than the high level obj system created by the shelf tools, you can split your display (blue) and render (purple) flags in sops to do a similar trick.

Thanks for the tips. I think I'm gonna stick with the force parameter for now. I'm quite new to Houdini, so it would take some time until i can figure out how to do the display/render separations myself.
