1. $HFS/houdini/scripts/dophints.cmd
however you see the allowed data on the data inputs of DOP nodes themselves, as hints, that's why this is there
2. I wouldn't say this is something TDs would normally edit or extend, feels a bit more deeper, but there is no limit to what TDs can do
