As the title suggests. looking to make an emitter emit 1 or 2 single particles, and no more, from each point in a scatter.
Very new to Houdini so the coding language is quite alien to me (Animator here)
Can anyone help?
How to emit one single particle?

Attach your single point, as an input source to a popnet. Set the popnet to birth All Points (not default of scatter to surface). Type in a name for the birth group, like “just_born”. Drop down a pop kill and delete everything that is not “just_born”.
With that setup you will get a 1:1 point match. You supply one point to the particle system and it gives you one point back, that can be affected by forces.
