C++ plugins for Renderman for Houdini

It seems not to be possible to write custom plugins (like lensshaders, bsdfs etc) in renderman for H at this time. What are the plans for support of this? Or is it up to Pixar only?

Any changes to Renderman would have to happen via the Renderman SDK, has nothing to do with Houdini/SideFX

The thing is that Sidefx actually collaborates with pixar on the RfH plugin so it is not impossible that some of the work has to be done by the Sidefx team. Renderman has no problem using C++ compiled shader code (of course! it is meant to be used that way!), it is the interface to H as I understand it. Hopefully I am wrong but there is no documentation so it is hard to find out.
