Currently trying to figure out the maps baker node. I followed a tutorial and modeled a knife, created low and high poly, and connected to the maps baker. For some reason, when i hit bake nothing happens. Does anyone have a fix to this? Probably me being oblivious to something im sure.

I think someone posted this earlier, but if you're on indie or apprentice, it won't bake out maps if you have the output setting too high.

I had this same issue
I ended up trying to render with lower res and it stopped crashing
then i slowly kept uping the resolution bake and i got it up to 4k

why does this issue happen in indie? does it stop with say, houdini core?
