Hi people,
This might sound a bit simple , but I am trying to change my JOB variable in Houdini under settings to D:\houdini\Houdini_projects instead of the default , but the execute button remains greyed out when I have pasted in the new path , so when I restart houdini it reverts back to the default JOB path.
I thought this would be the correct way of setting it up so I can quickly jump via JOB to save / open files. Or am I off the yellow brick road ?
also on a side note how do I print pages from the floating help ?

There are some special environment variables that have their own interface. job is one of these. You can't change them with the alias/variables/expressions interface.
You set “job” with the textport.
/ -> job
ejobs/my_job
/ -> job etmp
/ -> job
etmp
/ ->
Some others are $F, $FF, $FPS, $NFRAMES, $FSTART, $FEND.

There's at least one school like the old school!
