I am using animation layers with a base layer that is a rest pose, and a layer 1 that is a walk cycle. In the Animation CHOP network with the layer mixer selected, I can change the walk slider from 1 to 0 and it behaves as I would expect; at 1 I see the walk cycle and at 0 I see the rest pose… all good, but when I keyframe that slider, it will stay on whatever value I keyframe 2nd. (at frame 18 I keyframe a value of 1 on the walk layer, at frame 24 I add a keyframe of 0 and the result is the rest pose over the whole animation)

I am using Houdini 18.0.391 on a 2019 MacBook Pro.

Just found the fix… In the layers, channel tab, channel range, once set to use full animation range on both layers it worked as expected
