I have a Asset that is based on a subnet with some simple Objects in it.

I try to store default values for the transformation, so when the asset is updated with new defaults,
new values will be acessible to the artists using that asset (inside unity with H-engine). But the values do not get stored when using “copy defaults from node” inside the type propertys window.
Also I cant even manualy set defaults for transformation, rotation etc.

Seems like they are locked by default. Anyone know how to work around this?

Background:
We are working with architecture that is layouted in houdini first, its archeological material so we often change transformations and push them to unity. The easiest way would be through Defaults.

Probably you have those parameters marked as “invisible” in root.
I suggest you to maintain them “invisible” and create a new parametrized “transform” node.

It´s not a visibility issue. Its the Transform of a usual subnet on obj level, so there´s a transform handle and its visible in the parameters tab.
