Working with MIDI data

I'm working with a friend who is a sound designer, and he's exported some MIDI data, of a simple drum track. But when I'm try to import the MIDI data via the MIDI In CHOP, there is no data, everything is zero'd out. Anyone worked with MIDI before have advice on this? Thanks

Moin,
in your sample you are scoping to note 60, but your midi file only uses notes 38 and 40. You need to scope to the notes you are using.
